Things Are Gonna Change Around Here

September 27, 2007 / by Preacher

Things are really getting heated on Blogster and I may be leaving soon. I just don't want to have anything to do with what is allowed to go on here. I thought I read that there was no obscenities allowed here and yet they are allowed. I happened to come across one the other day. Wow! I was accused of being rude, angry, and "another angry Christian".

If unsaved people can post and say anything they want, why does a Christian get accused of something they aren't really doing? What difference does it make? To me, a whole lot. As a Christian, I am separated from the evils of this life. I have allowed God to work in me and change me into what He saw when He first thought of me. I want to be "His dream-come-true" if you know what I mean.

Sinners seem to think that God is mushy, weak, and doesn't care what anyone does or says. They think that His love is gushy and sweet and will forgive anything anyone does. That is true to a point. What they seem to fail to realize is that unrepentant sin will not be forgiven. Why am I called a Pharisee for speaking the truth?

There are some really hardcore people out in the world that need to know that they are sinners in God's eyes no matter what they think or believe. They cannot change the truth. But they try to justify their behavior by pointing the finger at someone who "calls" out their lifestyle and tries to make them see what they are doing, not to others but to themselves. That is caring, but they twist it into something I don't understand. They don't see the love that is extended by me reaching out to them. They call me names, they harass me on the telephone and tell me to leave them alone. Maybe I will and let God deal with them in His way. I feel sorry for them and they laugh. Well, for what it's worth, I tried.

Christians are to preach the Gospel. I take it where ever I go and people just don't like to hear it, but it won't shut me up! Christians have a relationship with God and sinners can't stand it. They really envy us, but don't realize it. Even the Jews had Jesus crucified because of envy.
That's OK. Jesus said we would be hated. I don't hold anything against them, but they don't understand that. O well, have to wait and see what happens.

"Even the Jews had Jesus crucified because of envy."
This is the infamous Blood Libel that led to the violent deaths of millions of Jews. In humane jurisdictions, you would sit in jail for a very long time on the hate crime [fomenting genocide].
What did the Jews do to make you hate them so?
Mocking the Jewish religion is punishable by 1000 years in hell.

Excuse me, but I never said I hated Jews. Jesus was Jewish and I love Him and His people who believe in Him. Mark 15:9,10 says "But Pilate answered them (the elders and scribes and the whole council) saying "Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?" For he knew that the CHIEF PRIESTS had handed Him over because of envy." God said that, not me.
Ciaphas was the high priest the year Jesus was crucified. John 18: 14 tells us that "Caiaphas who gave counsel to the Jews that it was expedient that one man should die for the people." Pilate and Ciaphas both knew Jesus was the Son of God and the King of the Jews. He's also the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I do not hate Jews my friend. I am not mocking them and I will not spend eternity in hell. [ROLLEYES]

Your recitation of the Blood Libel compelled me to respond. Be advised you are spreading a dangerous lie that has killed millions of people. You are accessory after the fact.
If one of your readers murders a Jew, you could merit up to 1,000,000 years in hell. Since Theodore Keim's 1838 book, all reputable Christian scholars have agreed only the Romans had the power of execution. Your references date from 350 AD or later, and were written for Roman pagan sensibilities.

I am so sorry, they are after you too, we must not let it get us down, don't leave ,that is what they want. A fellow Christian. I don't mock the Jews and I am sure you don't either. [THUMBUP][HEART] Hazel[HEART]

My understanding of Jesus' relationship with sinners is that he was right there with them. He built a relationship with the woman at the well. He had dinner with Zaccheus. As a Christian, I don't have any issues with you sharing your faith-but that doesn't include calling someone ignorant or being accusatory. Jesus did point out flaws-with a loving heart. You're right that Jesus is not mushy or weak, but neither is he mean.
Also, my understanding is that if you have an issue with your brother you go to him one on one and share your concerns...not accuse them for all to read.

    Remember Matthew 5:11:

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven...

None of us like persecution, but at least when we get it, we know we're doing what we're supposed to be doing...and doing it right. Sealed

All people who ever lived, live now, or ever will live sin. All people who ever lived, live now, or ever will live killed Jesus because they sinned. I did, you did, and everybody else did. He would not have been called to earth were there no sin. If he were alive today, some other group would kill him, but he had to die or none would be in heaven. All flesh killed Jesus. By the culture and lineage of the Jew (none other than Christ Jesus himself) all flesh will get the opportunity for salvation. Jews and Christians are coming together before Jesus' return to Jerusalem to rule and reign. This phenomenon is affecting the whole earth, and I am thrilled. Blessings to all, Carol

....Trinity does not exist, the word christians is used to insult Jesus, never does he use the word to state his own religion. His crucifixion was a hoax. The teaching the current christians are following is false and isnt the real teachings of Jesus but just Paul's rants. The books banned from the bible were just story books, the entire bible itself is a list of story books with some form of false justification that its the word of God whereas God spoke through jesus and Jesus was education yet he never wrote hte Gospel.

Jesus's family had written a book preserving his teachings, nowhere does it mention his virgin birth, nowhere does it mention that he claimed divnity.

Nowhere does it mention his crucifixion. But im happy that atleast the lie is good for something, Its make people happy.

The Bible does not teach or support a Trinity....It, the Trinity, is Man Made.

Some refer to 1 John 5:7-8, to support the Trinity. However, part of verses 7 & 8 were added to the text. It should read:

1John 5:7>For there are three that bear record

1John 5:8>in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood; and these three agree in one.

    It was published later:

1John 5:7>For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

1John 5:8>And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood; and these three agree in one.
Also, Matt 1:23>Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and THEY shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God With Us.

Note: This particular verse, Matt 1:23, started my departure from the mainstream believers, because no one could explain why Jesus was never called Emmanuel. In order to gleam meaning from this verse of scripture, you will have to visit Isa chapt 7:14 and King Ahaz's situation.

The Bible is book of spiritual words, unlike  ordinary books. It can only be understood by spiritual discernment, which requires much Patience. It is a book for listerners.

It's obvious to me that you only want to show your real ignorance here.  But that's okay.  You be ignorant.  You are wrong about the word Christian.  Acts 11:26 tells us that the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.  Barnabas and Saul went to Antioch and found a lot of believers of Jesus there.  "So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people.  And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch."

As to the mention of the Trinity, you as always are off the wall and out of your head. If you really knew the Scripture, you wouldn't be here harrassing those who know what you obviously only chose to harbor hostility towards.  When Jesus was baptized, the Godhead was  present. Mark 1: 9-11 "It came to pass in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was bapttized by John in the Jordan. And immediately, coming up from the water, He saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending upon Him like a dove.  Then a voice came from heaven, "You are my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."  Jesus was here, His Father was there and the Holy Spirit was there.  It doesn't get any plainer than that. You are not only uneducated, but a blasphemer as well.  So don't call me uneducated and don't call me anything but a Christian!

Im tempted to call you another Christian scum but im afraid that'd be giving you too much credit. Sigh lets begin your massacre.

Lets quickly talk about Trinity shall we? So, God, The Son, And the Holy spirit. In the chapter and verse you mentioned, They were sepera entities, If Jesus was God, Why was God opening and heavens and talking to him?

The word Trinity is NOT in the bible, Find me the word. Find me a SINGLE unambigious verse in the bible in which Jesus says "I am God, Worship me" Come, lets see how much knowledge you truly have. The only verse that is close to trinity is. 1st epistle of john

"7For there are three that bear record in Heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost; and these three are one."

but, if you read the revised standard version, checked by 32 scholars of the highest eminense, backed by 50 cooperating denominations, They THREW that verse out of the bible, now its

"7There are three that testify:* 8the Spirit and the water and the blood, and these three agree."

Just wanted to let u know, thats all ^_^ they said this verse was a concotion and it was thrown out of the bible. they is not a single statement in the bible where he says "i am god, worship me"

Gospel of john, chapter 14, verse 28,

28Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

Purely, this man is saying, his father e.g God is greater than him.

Gospel of John chapter 10, verse 29

"My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all;"

Gospel of matthew, chapter number 12. verse 28

"But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you"

Gospel of luke, chapter number 11 verse 20

"20But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you."

Gospel of John, chapter number 5, verse number 30

"30I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me."

Now, that Ive shattered your already false hope, Would you like me to crush your small belief of "the original sin" next? or perhaps something else you have in mind, The fact God committed adultery perhaps? please, come ask away. My knowledge is for those who seek it, not for those who lack understanding. If you want to follow Christianity EVEN now. Then you were weak of faith and spirit in the first place and you will remain blind.

The envy of man is what killed Jesus.....envy kills anyone. "But Pilate answered them, saying, "Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?" For he knew that the chief priests had handed Him over because of ENVY." (Mark 15:  9, 10)  The chief priests KNEW who Jesus was.  They all knew that one Man should die for the people and Ciaphas knew it, too.  His own people killed Him because they were jealous and envious b/c Jesus knew what He was talking about and He told them the truth and they didn't want the truth.  Jesus was/is God and they didn't want to hear Him.  It was the same when Moses was leading them.  They actually told Moses they didn't want to hear God, but they would listen to him.  Isn't it still like that today!

  • Preacher said 2 months ago

-crucify, you cannot ever shatter anything in me, especially my sure hope because my hope is in the Lord who made heaven and earth.  In Him I live and move and have my being. In Him I have life and have it more abundantly. In Him alone I have eteral life. In Him I set my love and hope and trust.  He said He would never leave me or forsake me.  I say the same thing: I will NEVER leave Him for forsake Him.  Don't you yet understand that it's nothing to do with Islam, Christianity, Hinduism or Judeaism or any ism out there.  It's about a relationship with our Creator.  You just don't get it, do you?
