    Cherish the time. It goes by so quickly.  You are blessed to have that relationship.  I have one daughter who doesn't speak much to me, the other only calls when she needs something.  Some day it'll be better, but for now, all I can do is pray.

    We all tend to say those "if only"s, but we can't change the past. What we can do is control the present to make the future better than what we had.  You tend to do what you do in a certain situation believing it is the best choice.  Why not give your mom a choice of where she wants to stay?  If she chooses the apartment, honor that choice and visit as often as possible.  Sounds like you've been very good to her and have a lot of strong feelings that maybe go unsaid?  Say them.  To her.  I didn't tell my mom anything when I was young and now I do.  I can even say I love you.  She giggles when I hug her and say I love you Mommy.  Know that you did the best you could and probably will continue to do the best.

    Hi there!  I just discovered your wonderful blog here.  God DOES work in mysterious and miraculous ways!  My dad had Parkinson's Disease so I know what you are dealing with to some degree.  It isn't easy no matter how you look at it.  But God is faithful.  My mom is 89 and still going.  She's by herself now, and was still working till a few months ago (parttime) but they were trying to save $ so they let her go.  Now she's a little down and doesn't know what to do with herself.   I'm grateful for the time we have together.  See you later.

    I know how you feel.  I miss him too, Heather.  I wish sometimes I could bring him back and it could be like it should've been and not what it was. I have so many regrets.  We all did the best we could. Love U.

    Dreams, especially repeated dreams are a signal of something you are trying to resolve deep down inside.  Perhaps you were made to be afraid when you were a child, around bedtime.  A man standing over you could represent your father or even God.  If it concerns you, you need to "look" at it closely and examine it deeper. If it keeps happending, it defiinitely has a psychological meaning only you can provide.
